Our weekdays

When I have a day off during the week I spend a lot of time out with my mom and Amelie.. I guess you can say I have a lot more energy these days I actually been leaving the house on my days off. Hubs been working nights for the past few weeks and looks like he will continue on nights for the next few months. I really really dislike this schedule with both of us working we hardly see eachother and I honestly miss him to death. While hubs was sleeping today miss mil and I made some cakepops with my new toy hubs got me. Yes it is for kids but I really wanted it :)




So I grabbed my little helper and we made some vanilla cakepops. This kit made it a little simpler, but I still need practice.






My little helper did most of the work. She kept saying common mom let's play with your toy. Haha she's so funny.









As you can see not as cute as bakerella, but they get the job done!

Since my baby did not start school this year like I had hoped I went out and got her some preschool practice books. Here is one page we did where she had to color the veggies and glue them in the right cart. She's one smart cookie....

Movie and Shopping

My baby is getting so big It's hard to believe in three months I'll have a four year old. Wow! Four is no longer a baby four is a little person. She has to be one of the most amazing people I have ever met I love my Amelie Jade... Today we took her to see Madagascar 3. Was a little boring in my opinion, but she seemed to enjoy herself and that's all that matters.




After the movie we did a little shopping for baby sister and I have to say I'm extremely proud of myself lately I've been so good when it comes to shopping. I found an adorable musical gym for Mirah on clearance for 15.00 then today found her a sleeper, a gown, a swaddler and a toy for 13.00 at toysrus. The swaddler alone is 12.00.. I've been finding the best deals and I love a great deal...

We Have A Name..

Surprisingly the hubby is the one who came up with Amirah's middle name... So we will be naming our precious little girl Amirah Mae.. the middle name is a little different but we definitely like different. I cannot wait to meet this little one I feel like time has slowed down. I think were down to 116 days till our due date, but still everyday is dragging. I don't know if its just the past few weeks but I have been so out of it. I can hardly walk from one side of work to the other without being completely drained. I've been getting a lot of pains and just completely uncomfortable. I hope this doesn't last the rest of my pregnancy because if so I still have months to go. I think it could be I just got my bump so maybe the extra weight keeping me down. I just hope this little one stays put at least until 36 weeks.

Oh Belly?

Finally you have arrived and I must say overnight. I love baby bumps....



22 weeks 4 days



Momma Amelie & Amirah


Weekly update:

How far along? 22 weeks

Total weight gain: 5 lbs I think not to sure

Maternity clothes? A lot of my regulars mixed with maternity.

Stretch marks? No new ones

Sleep: Sleep is horrible not only is it hot really really hot but I cannot sleep. I move all night long, and wake up with pains from accidentally rolling onto my back.

Best moment this week: honestly haven't had a good week. I'm not sure if its hormones the heat or a little of both, but I'm just not myself lately.

Miss Anything? Not being hot all the time.

Movement: Mirah is really active at night. I also recently discovered this little girl is not a fan of blow dryers. Poor baby moves around nonstop while I blow dry my hair.

Food cravings: Not really

Food aversions: Not anymore

Gender: She's all girl!

Labor Signs: I sure hope not. I have been extremely uncomfortable lots of pains and when I stand for a long period I get lots of pressure. I also think I may be losing my mucus plug. I know it doesn't mean labor but still a little scary this early! This little mama needs to stay in for a few more months..

Symptoms: pretty much everything I listed above.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Looking forward to: getting things prepared for our princess. I feel very behind. I haven't picked a middle name. Haven't bought any major items not even diapers. Just feel very unprepared which isn't me at all.
