Christmas time 2012

This holiday season flew by maybe because I was home with both girls and didn't feel like doing much. I wish I would have done some crafts with the girls hand prints but didn't get around to it. Its hard having a winter baby I worry leaving the house with her so small.

Welcome Amirah Mae

Well I'm only 3 weeks late.. but my beautiful baby girl is here and healthy! Our csection went as planned and we welcomed our baby girl December 4th at 12:58 pm. She came into our lives weighing 6lbs 5oz and measuring 18 inches. Just a beautiful little person! Dr. Showed her to us and all I could see was a little head and long legs.

I've waited so long to meet her I couldn't feel more complete. I'm so in love I cannot even explain it.

Not long after being in recovery big sister Millie came to welcome her sister..she was a lot different then I expected but she loves everything about her baby!

We brought baby home and we're so in love with her. Nothing in the world is more precious then a gift straight from God! She's my little angel..

The first few days were a little hard I was trying to breastfeed but she was losing weight and got down to 5lbs 12oz so we started formula. She's doing good she's growing fast way faster then I expected. My hubs stood with me for the first two weeks I was not ready for him to go back he was such awesome help I got to sleep a lot even though I look exhausted I'm finally starting to get the hang of being a mommy of two. I do need extra time to make sure both girls are bathed and ready but other then that I'm so excited to have two little girls who I know will be best of friends one day.

I could post a hundred more but I don't think my phone would let me lol. A lot of the pictures I really love are on my hibs phone :/ but she's here and thats all that matters. She just celebrated her first Christmas she slept through everything but we're just glad to have her home. I'll update with Christmas soon..

A four year old!

Miss Amelie Jade turned 4 a few days ago and although I've been at home relaxing as much as possible I'm just to tired to post. I figure with a newborn coming tomorrow I should probably update what's gone on this last week! Hard to believe my once bald little monkey girl is now a little lady!

So so so beautiful..
We went out shopping on her birthday and it was raining the perfect weather for her ladybug rainboots and umbrella!

Hubs and I got her a leappad2 best gift everrr... she loves it she calls it her ipad haha. I love that it has a camera so she can take all the pictures she wants. Also has videos we can download like my little pony which is her new obsession that and Brave.

We went to dinner at Johns incredible with some family and friends. It was nice and millie had fun and thats what mattered most to us!

So tomorrow is the big day Amirah's Birth day....

Wow I cannot describe the million and one emotions I feel right now! Tomorrow I am a mom of two. Two little girls I'm so blessed to have made it this far and just hope and pray that everything turns out as planned and we have a healthy baby girl tomorrow. I can't wait to hold her in my arms haha I'm already emotional and she's not even here yet. I will have to update soon.

9 days...

Momma and Amelie

Here we are just 13 days until my scheduled csection.. Now we're down to 9 days.. Wow! Just nine days until we welcome our baby girl. These 9 months flew by especially this last month..

Dr. Update:
We received some good and some bad news. Good news: Amirah gained weight she's now at 5lbs 10z so a whole lb larger then just two weeks ago. I'm glad she's growing I was really nervous about her weight. Fluid looks great and baby has hair! Not so good news: the placenta is really small for her so my doctor wants to keep a close eye on her so another non stress test Monday and Thursday.. As much as I want to hold her in my arms I hope she stays put until our scheduled csection I really want to spend this last week with Millie for her birthday.

Wednesday my baby turns four.. awwww love her.. everyday she wants me to show her on the calender when her birthday is and when sisters coming out! She's adorable...

So today I decided to try my moby wrap on I have never used one but I really wanted one this time and my sister corina bought me one. So my beautiful gigi came over today and I decided to throw it on and stick her in it lol.. I like it but I'm sure holding a smaller baby will be a lot different then my 7 month old neice...
