Picnic & Playland

Saturday morning we got up early and took Millie and Jazzy to playland. Millie is just tall enough to ride a few of the rides so we figured she would enjoy it. I haven't been to playland in years and the two rides I was most excited about weren't running so no train or row boats for us. The girls really enjoyed themselves we took lunch to the park and rode a few rides enjoyed the nice February weather well it lasted.

In all the pictures they were being silly making faces or hiding but I love them and I'm glad they had fun..

Just a little video of the girls on one of the rides.

Oh the things she says

Emotional wreck yes that's me. I just came across a post about tips for dads of daughters and of course I'm crying. Yup that's me I cry that's what I do. Just thinking my baby won't be a baby forever is so sad although I love watching Millie grow one day she will grow up get married and leave and that is so sad. I must remember to have my honey read that post. So as I was reading it reminded me of a conversation Millie and I had about a week ago. I can't really remember exactly what or how the conversation got brought up but I asked Millie who she was going to marry expecting someone along the lines of Diego or Prince charming well no her answer was daddy. I told Millie daddy was already married to mommy and she freaked out although she knew this already but me telling her made her cry and this was a omg how could you do this to me cry big tears and all. Poor baby. I thought it was so cute I guess its true all little girls want to marry their daddy. It's funny to actually have these conversations with her to see how she views things around her. The other day I asked millie if she was going to take care of me when she grew up and her response was adorable, " I'm going to hold you and change you when you grow little mommy". Aww my little girl is so precious. Conversations like these are priceless...
