Tomorrow's the day

We have an elective ultrasound tomorrow to hopefully determine the sex of our baby. I'm so nervous and excited. I'll be 15w6d so hopefully it's accurate I keep hearing stories of people finding out sex then at birth It's wrong. I really hope baby cooperates and we get a nice clear view. I'm also so excited to see millies reaction to seeing her baby on screen she's so in love with her baby "sister".

They say mothers intuition and mine changes daily lol. Hubs says boy for sure and big sister says girl.... We will see tomorrow who's right!

Why Can't Time go Faster...

I must say the phrase "why can't time go faster" at least once a day. It always reminds me of Rex from Toy Story. Well today I want time to go faster because I can't wait to get out of town even if it's just for a few days. I need this mini vacation so bad. Shopping out of town is always way better then shopping in town. I am a little disappointed we aren't 100% sure of the sex of the baby because I wanted to buy stuff for him or her. Maybe I'll find some cute blankets or something baby related.

Speaking of time going faster the only thing in life that seems to be flying by is my Mil that girl is so big and smart. Yesterday morning she got out her ABC books and started practicing writing her A's.. She so smart, but gets mad if she can't do it right the first time. My baby I love her she's such a joy.

OK so it's not the best picture but here I am at 14 weeks.. The dress doesn't help show the bump at all and if I wasn't hold it you would never know I was pregnant. I'll take a better one soon promise...

Second Trimester 14 weeks...

So I skipped 13 weeks and still haven't posted a belly shot. I know I'm gonna regret it when I'm huge and don't remember being small, but every picture I take I don't like..Blah!!

Officially in the second trimester YAY!!! Only 182 days to go...

This week baby is the size of a Lemon...



Weekly update:

How far along? 14 weeks

Total weight gain: down 3 lbs

Maternity clothes? Nope I went to try pants on but they were all so big

Stretch marks? No new ones

Sleep: Sleep hasn't been to bad

Best moment this week: I think this weekend will be good were getting out of town for a few days.

Miss Anything? Not really. These mood swings are no fun though...

Movement: I wish I can't wait to feel this baby wiggle around

Food cravings: Not really

Food aversions: Not anymore

Gender: Since were not 100% its a GIRL were still saying we don't know. In the next week or so we should know.

Labor Signs: NO

Symptoms: My legs have been killing me and I woke up in the middle of the night with a really sharp pain in my back.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Looking forward to: This weekend getting away with my little family for a few days, and hopefully feel the baby move soon. At my 12 week ultrasound baby was hardly moving just did a few little turns so I'm thinking this baby isn't as active as Millie was.

A photo of Millie and Jazmin from this weekend I worked so I didn't get any other pictures of them.. They went to two parties and of course my husband didn't take any. Aren't they adorable?

Cloud Nine

Today I feel like the most blessed person alive. I'm in such a good mood I feel so in love I wish this feeling would never end. I don't think anyone or anything could ruin my day. This morning I had my 12w ultrasound, and everything went great. Baby is doing good growing great and our little one looks like a baby now. Ultrasounds always make me so happy especially this one. I didn't think I would make it this far and to know I'm almost out of the first trimester and baby is right on track just has me in a great mood today. I'm an emotional wreck today one minute I'm in the car crying tears of joy that this pregnancy is going good then next minute I'm crying because I wish the last pregnancy didn't end. I'm very thankful for this baby and I thank God daily for my family.

I didn't have an ultrasound with Millie around 12w but I wish I did. The baby was moving it's little arms around and twisting it's little body. Honestly its like falling in love watching my baby on screen. I have the biggest smile on my face since leaving the Dr. Its just such a great feeling.

So I know its early tomorrow I'll be 13w but Dr. did take a look to see baby's sex!!!!

AHHHHHH!!!! I'm so excited.. Gosh here comes the water works haha...

He looked at me and said it's a little early but it looks like its a GIRL...

I just got the hugest smile on my face I know its early but I can't help but imagine big sister Millie playing dress up with her little sister. I remember finding out I was pregnant with a girl and the first thing I thought was she's going to need sisters so to have two little girls would be perfect. I'm not getting my hopes up, but would love if Dr. was right well I would love a boy also so I guess it doesn't really matter just makes me so much more anxious to find out for sure...


Last time I posted I was saying how Miss Millie has been singing for me so I recorded her singing our favorite song. It melts my heart this sweet girl...

Weekly update:

How far along? 12 weeks

Total weight gain: down 3 lbs

Maternity clothes? No but my pants are starting to get really uncomfortable

Sleep: Sleep hasn't been to bad

Best moment this week: Millie singing "you are my sunshine". When I was pregnant I would sing that song to my tummy all the time..

Miss Anything? Still my energy I feel like I'm almost normal but some days are really hard.

Movement: Hopefully in a few weeks I can't wait to feel baby moving.

Food cravings: Not really

Food aversions: I'm not as nausious as I was so food isn't bothering me.

Gender: I'm hoping in 3 to 4 weeks we will know. I just want to go buy one item..

Labor Signs: NO thank you..

Symptoms: Fatigue and a little nausea

Looking forward to: Had to reschedule my Dr. apointment so looking forward to Monday's ultrasound and hearing baby's heartbeat.
