Happy Birthday to Me

I'm a few days past my birthday but I just had to post how much I love my birthday present. The hubs bought me another band to my wedding ring. My engagement ring came with the wedding band as a set but it was my hubs idea to add another band to it. So off we went to add a shiny new band to my finger :) I love my ring its the only piece of jewelry I have not lost.

I enjoyed my birthday dinner with my husband. Every time we go out someplace together I try to get a picture of the two of us together, but for some reason or another just can't. This will have to do as the best from that night. Hopefully once I get my Canon T3i I will be able to take nice pictures..

Okay so that is not the best picture of us but I still love that hub of mine.

Oh' Christmas Tree..

Where did this month go? I feel like I closed my eyes and boom it's Christmas. I'm a little sad I haven't been blogging as much as I like to but maybe that can be my New Year's resolution ;) So on to our Christmas tree. I have always known that somethings you just don't let your husband do without you and buying a Christmas tree is one of them. When I said I wanted a big Christmas tree I meant a 6 foot tree but what I wasn't prepared for was when my husband came home with this tree.. I guess what my husband didn't think of was this is our first tree so we have nothing for it haha.. Oh well I love it! I love that he went and picked it out because he wanted me to have the best tree. I love that even though our whole town was sold out of tree stands he said screw it I'll make one :) I love that husband of mine.

And of course who could forget this little one. She woke up this morning helped me do the tree and decorate our gingerbread cookies we baked last night. She is such a good little helper.

I love the colors of our ornaments I'm defiantly getting stuff to decorate next year. Oh and I'm sure next year I will start earlier..

She made sure every ornament was perfect.

Amelie- So my daddy will be happy!

I love baking I wish I could bake everyday. I made gingerbread cookies and I have to say they came out really good. I will defiantly do these every year. Instead of doing them shaped as little mean I decided to do them round so we could decorate the faces.

A date with Cinderella

Today Millie wanted to dress up so shes running around dressed as Cinderella. She looks adorable. So were enjoying our day together coloring and playing with her dollhouse. I love having a little girl dress up and Disney movies. Now to put on "Cinderella a Twist in Time" a favorite movie in our house. Going to enjoy the rest of my date with my little Cinderella.

Happy Happy Happy Birthday my dear sweet little girl..

Amelie Jade you are a whole three years old today. I have to admit I did shed a few tears this morning. You're just growing into a beautiful little girl I can hardly believe three years has flown by so fast. mommy remembers seeing you for the first time and feeling this overpowering rush of emotions. Loving after seeing you has never been the same no one can ever measure up to you my love. I hope one day you too can experience the love you have for a child. I will always be by your side cheering you on. I hope you know mommy is your number one fan! Watching you grow more and more each day has gave life something wonderful to look forward too. You never seem to amaze us. You're not only smart and funny but caring in every way possible. I look forward to watching you grow into a beautiful person. Mommy loves every little thing about you from your big bright brown eyes to your little chubby toes. Happy Birthday my big girl I love you oh so much!

We woke Millie up this morning and had her go into the front room to this doll house. Staying up till 1:30 was so worth it just to see her face and hear her giggle..

We woke up this morning played with our new doll house and our new baby Alyssa. By the way I have no idea where Millie came up with the name Alyssa for her baby but that's what she wanted so Alyssa it is.

I'm so glad Millie was surrounded by the people who love her the most on her very special day. We our so blessed to have an amazing tight knit family and close friends.

The past two days Millie keeps talking about her baby sister. About how she's in my tummy and how she wants to play with her. I tried explaining to her that I do not have a baby sister in my stomach but she insist I do and she's getting big so she can play. So today when she pointed to my stomach and said she wanted to see her baby sister I told her if she really wanted a sister then to ask Jesus to give us one. So my sweet adorable little momma looked up and said, "Jesus put a baby sister in my mommy's stomach". She then looked at us and said it's in there. The faith she has is just so adorable.

She's defiantly not a baby anymore..

As we get closer to Millie's third birthday I have asked her a few times what she would like for her birthday. So This is Miss Millie's wish list:

Pretty simple list if you ask me. I should enjoy it now soon enough she will be asking for a cell phone and laptop. Can't wait to see her open presents this year last year she was still a little to small, but this year I know she will love everything and be very thankful for everything she receives.

It's so hard to believe this baby is no longer a baby, Miss Amelie Jade is almost three. These past few weeks we've noticed a whole new person. She talks and talks and talks about everything and to anyone. She has to be the most outgoing friendly little girl I have ever known. Which I just love.

She is getting so big way to fast. Where is that little bald baby I once had? She says the funniest thing's...

Mommy- Can I dress up like a princess for your birthday too?

Millie- You're to big to be a princess mommy.

Mommy- Millie can you carry me to the kitchen?

Aww man, See I told you, and that's my favorite are some of the phrases she uses all day long...

She is such a smart cookie.. We have been practicing spelling her name, most days she can do it herself. She knows all her colors and shapes and can recognize some letters.

I love love love that face...If I could keep you one age forever it would have to be this age your an amazing little person with a whole bunch of personality...

She will pretty much pose however you tell her. Its about time I waited way to long to get pics of her posing I have to say that face is adorable..

Millie has her own friends and she talks about them all the time. Here she is with Jasmine her best friend forever. If you mention the park or chuck e cheese she will start talking about her friend. I hope theses two are friends forever...

It really is hard to believe my baby is a soon to be three year old. that means she will be going to school this coming August. Where oh where did the time go? Stop growing so fast my little love..Stay my little princess forever...

Pumpkin Patch

This year we took Millie to a pumpkin patch that had hayrides and a steam train. It really was adorable and a lot of fun except living in California it was hot. Really hot. Millie kept saying she wanted to go home. Hopefully next year we actually get to enjoy this fall activity in fall weather. This was one place I really wish I would have had my camera for.

I love how I can get her to stay still and pose for me. In most of her pictures this is the smile and pose I get. I have to say I love it though...

Our favorite park..

Some of my favorite memories are of Millie & I at the park. I love watching her play and running around chasing or running from the ducks. Most of the playground was closed but we had a nice lunch and we feed the ducks.

This park has a lot of great memories. This is the first park I ever took Millie to and where we celebrated her dedication. This is where we have lots and lots of play dates with friends. I hope Millie grows up remembering all these great memories we share together at this park..

Football?!

I guess this post isn't really about football. We did watch the game at our place and had friends over and good food, but the reason I'm posting is because it's so hard to get pictures of Millie and Hubby together so since both my loves were in Niner jerseys I decided to try and get a picture or two...

My little lady is so big I still can't believe she's almost three. To me that officially is no longer a baby...

Dad never likes taking pictures, but i got a few he kept making funny faces and I told him either way I way posting them. Millie kept looking at dad and trying to copy the faces he was making. I thought they were to cute to not share. Even if hubby doesn't think so.

That face melts my heart. I think I just may have to frame one or two or three of these...
